How to Pick Your Character’s Personality and Background
So far we have been explaining the race and class of the characters in D&D, but what defines them the most, what represents them as unique individuals in the multiverse is their history, interests, ties and abilities. From here we are going to define what the D&D 5e Character Sheet Fillable we are building is like in order to distinguish it from many others with the same race and class. We’ll start by giving you a name, gender, physical appearance, background, personality, and alignment.
Character aspects
First of all, we must think carefully about what qualities our PC has and what can be better for him. Although aspects of the list of the book are removed, there are always better and worse options.
Height and weight
The race of the character gives guidelines that determine the height and weight, but you can also pull the table to put the random height and weight that the book gives us.
Other Physical Characteristics
You will also have to choose the age, hair color, eyes and skin of the D&D Character, you can also put on a physical characteristic that is differential, scars, a limp, tattoos, imagination to power.
Alignment
In Dungeons & Dragons all reasoning creatures have Alignment, this is the union of two great traits: the character’s morality and social attitude. These two traits give us nine alignment possibilities.
Languages
Each race determines what language the character knows, but he can also learn or know other languages, in principle all the characters know the common one, but his class can also give him some other, just like the chosen background.
Inspiration
It’s a new rule in the fifth edition of D&D. This rule can be used by the Dungeon Master the moment he sees that a player has earned it, he can achieve it by interpreting it in a faithful way with the traits of his character. This inspiration gives the player an advantage when making a roll and whenever they choose to use it. But he can also pass it on to another player for the same reasons he won it.
Backgrounds
The characters have a beginning from which their intrigue to go on adventures began. This background will provide the adventurer with two more competencies in skills and tools. If you already have one, you can choose another of similar use. It will also grant some language to your intellect. You will get an initial kit at no cost, although later you can buy and acquire the one you need.
It will also suggest, although they are optional and can be invented by the player himself:
