This way, when you get home and relax, you can listen to your message and do the tasks that need to be done. Or you can use the voice recording app on your phone for the same reason. Use these resources for a to-do list or to remember someone’s name you just met. 

Keep A Diary

Keeping a diary to write down your daily activities is another way to be sure you will not forget important things. This is an excellent way to keep track of what you need to do, places you go and people you see. Also, a diary is one way to remember any critical information from your doctor. Therefore, having all your information handy in a notebook helps reduce your stress and anxiety because everything is conveniently in one place.

Set Up A Whiteboard

It is hard enough to stay on top of your schedule, much less keep track of the whole family. Using your whiteboard as a communication center is one way to connect with the entire family. Clear Out Any Clutter

An overload of information is taxing for anyone, especially those with MS and ALS. Learning to declutter helps you figure out what messes up your focus and teaches you different ways to avoid them. Do not try to multitask since this can make your brain fog worse. Stick to one thing at a time and push through until the task is done. Create a quiet space for at least an hour a day, with no distractions. Taking this extra time helps to recharge your brain to focus on the essential things.

When you have MS or ALS, your cognitive functions are more complex. Slow down to ensure you are not overwhelmed by your daily duties.
